BHS vs. Tift County Baseball 2019

Berrien hosted the 7A Tift County Blue Devils on Tuesday, losing 5-4 in extra innings.
In the first, Tift loaded the bases, with no outs, prompting an early pitching change. Jake Bennett took the mound, relieving starter Tanner Adams, and, Berrien was able to get out of the inning unscathed.
Berrien scored first and held a 4-1 lead going into the top of the 7th, but, the Blue Devils rallied, tying the score at four as regulation ended. Tift scored once in the top of the eighth, taking a 5-4 lead. Berrien was unable to get a run across in their half of the 8th, and, fell 4-5.
Coach Nix's young Rebel team is off to a rough start at 0-6.
